For the Wobble Rowing iOS application.
This Privacy Policy describes how WobbleRowing ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Wobble Rowing mobile application ("the App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
No personally identifiable information is collected by this App. We do not collect your name, email address, or any data that could be used to identify you as an individual.
GPS and Location Data. The App collects GPS data for two purposes: to calculate and verify boat speed, and to verify that sessions are taking place at water locations. This data is used solely for these research functions and is not used to track individuals.
Motion and Sensor Data. The App collects sensor data from your iPhone's accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer via Apple's Core Motion framework. This data is used to calculate the Wobble Factor (stability), stroke rate, and speed during your sessions.
No Account Required. Wobble does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
All data collected by the App is used exclusively for research purposes — specifically to improve the models developed around rowing stability, stroke rate, and speed. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.

The App requests the following permissions:
You may revoke either permission at any time in your iPhone's Settings app, though doing so will limit the App's ability to calculate the affected metrics.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address below and we will take steps to delete that information.
Data collected by the App is retained as part of our ongoing research project. If you wish to have your data removed from the research project, please contact us through the Support page and we will remove it upon request.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
